What is Playbook?
Playbook by Papagoya is our flagship annual immersive experience that invites educators, parents, and communities to step into the world of play. It was created from a simple belief: if adults get to experience play first, they are far more inspired and confident to bring it into their own classrooms, homes, and neighbourhoods.
Over the years, as families, teachers, NGOs, school leaders, and even students of education and design visited Papagoya to see play in action, one truth became clear: play resonates everywhere, but real change begins in the classroom, and at the heart of every classroom is the educator. They understand their children, their contexts, and their communities better than anyone else. When educators experience joyful, hands-on learning themselves, they can reimagine what is possible for the children they teach.
Playbook was created to make this experience accessible.
It is a space to pause, discover, build, question, and reconnect with the child within us. Participants engage with play deeply, through workshops, ideas, stories, and interactions that open up new ways of seeing learning. More than a conference, Playbook is an invitation to rethink how childhood can look, how learning can feel, and how play can live in every classroom and every family in India.

Who is Playbook for?
Playbook is for anyone who shapes childhood — educators, school leaders, parents, students, and anyone curious about how play can transform learning. It brings together people who believe in joyful, child-led experiences and want to reimagine what learning can look like in their classrooms, homes, and communities. Whether you’re an experienced teacher, a new parent, or simply someone who cares about children, Playbook offers ideas, tools, and inspiration you can take back and make your own.
